Welcome!

The Community of St. John Baptist, founded in England in 1852, is a religious order of women in the Episcopal Church. Since the early 1900's, the sisters have been in Mendham, New Jersey.

Prayer and worship are the undergirding of all our ministries. We endeavor to encourage and foster the opportunity where hearts may be opened to receive God's love, forgiveness and reconciliation.

Please contact us for St. Marguerite's Retreat House booking information and with any questions you may have.
