St. Marguerite's
      Retreat House

St. Marguerite's, styled after an English Manor House, was built in 1908 as a children's home. In 1960 it was converted into a Retreat House offering hospitality to a wide variety of groups. The red brick structure stands across the lawn from the Convent of St. John Baptist, and is surrounded by many beautiful trees and shrubs.

The retreat House is situated on 93 acres of wooded land, which lends itself to prayer and meditation. Walking paths provide guests with the opportunity to experience God's beauty in nature.

Accommodation comprises of 26 single bedrooms (bed linens and towels provided) and seven bathrooms.
There are three sitting rooms for smaller gatherings; a library for large groups, with TV and VCR; two Solariums for activities and recreation.

In the dining room, hearty, nutritious meals are served buffet-style, and hot beverages are available for the length of your stay.

The Chapel is available for prayer and worship. Liturgical needs can be provided.
All guests are welcome to attend the Community's Eucharist and prayer services held in the Convent Chapel.
